ForgePlay VR and ForgePlayVP — original implementation Revision: 2026-10-11 Copyright (C) 2026 Facta-Leopard Original source: https://github.com/Facta-Leopard/ForgePlay Vision Pro project: https://github.com/Facta-Leopard/ForgePlayVP 1. Author-owned implementation: GPL-3.0-only Facta-Leopard licenses the original Mac VR runtime, Vision Pro application, shared transport/media/input implementation and accompanying build/test code identified in SCOPE.json under the GNU General Public License, version 3 only. The unmodified text is in LICENSES/GPL-3.0-only.txt. Compliant copying, modification and redistribution, including commercial use, are permitted. This grant supersedes the earlier unpublished-source policy for the author's VR and Vision Pro implementation. Prior licenses and recipients' rights remain. The listed shared support/catalogue source needed to build these applications is included in this grant; earlier alternative permissions remain available. "Original implementation" describes project-authored behavior that implements public interfaces; it does not claim invention of standards or sole ownership of interfaces, third-party code, frameworks, models or runtime dependencies. No SteamVR runtime implementation or game code is included in this grant. 2. Wine and third-party boundary VR/Native/UnixBridge/VRUnixBootstrap.cpp is adapted from Wine. It retains its Wine authorship, LGPL-2.1-or-later terms and the additional linking permission reproduced in that file. It is not described as original ForgePlay code. Its provenance is recorded in VR/ThirdParty/wine-unix-bridge.lock.json. The project-authored shared-memory channel and protocol are separately identified in SCOPE.json; placing them in the same directory does not relicense Wine. Valve OpenVR public headers and generated declarations retain BSD-3-Clause notices. MinGW, Wine, DXMT and other bundled components retain their own licenses and source obligations. Apple frameworks are system dependencies. Binary artwork, logos and branding receive no new license from this notice. 3. Corresponding Source and existing host wrappers Distribution of the covered binaries must provide the applicable complete Corresponding Source, including the covered Swift runtime/transport code, native code, build scripts, interface definitions and necessary build inputs. A native-DLL-only archive is not complete source for the covered VR system. The source inventory records exact paths and hashes for each release. To preserve the separately licensed ForgePlay launcher/Desktop wrapper boundary, Facta-Leopard additionally permits linking or combining the author's covered VR contributions with those host UI/connection wrappers without requiring publication of the otherwise separately permitted wrapper source. This GPLv3 section 7 permission applies only to Facta-Leopard's contributions. It does not exempt any VR/Vision implementation in SCOPE.json, Wine-derived code or another copyright holder's material from its source/license duties. The Vision Pro application and shared VR implementation are covered source, not excluded wrappers. A process, IPC or folder boundary alone is no license exception. No existing GPL rights are revoked. This grant includes no trademark permission or warranty. Preserve applicable copyright/license notices and identify modifications as required by GPLv3.
